![]() Berry Digital Solutions LLC launched its 2nd local website in a span of a week! We're proud to announce that we've added KrughInsurance.com to our family of sites! We met Larry Krugh at a Champaign County Chamber of Commerce event. Larry is a long-time Champaign Countian and a tireless supporter of all things local. Like Berry Digital Solutions, Larry considers Krugh Insurance a relationship company, but he felt like he was missing out on opportunities to cultivate new relationships because of the agency's weak online presence. Krugh Insurance has been aiding Champaign County with all of its insurance needs since 1959, but the agency has recently purchased an Urbana location and moved it to the Scioto Plaza near Kroger's and Larry wanted a stronger online presence to help introduce the independent agency to more folks in Champaign County. Krugh Insurance already had a website, but it was simple and outdated (screenshot on left below). After just one 1-hour meeting with Larry and his brother Rodney, our team got to work. Larry introduced us to his wife Sunny who was a big help providing content, pictures and blog entries for the new site's blog page, "Krugh's News". After a few more back-and-forth emails, we were ready to launch KrughInsurance.com, a mobile-friendly, user-friendly, dynamic new website (screenshot on right below) that allows members to make claims and pay bills online, while inviting new customers to simply fill out a form to Request a Quote from Champaign County's #1 independent insurance agency! Along the way, we also helped Krugh Insurance set up a Google+ business page. We got both of their locations Google and Bing verified, and we shared some Facebook secrets to help with their social media presence. We tell everyone who will listen how important a small business' online presence is, but we think Larry Krugh said it best in his latest email to us: "I’m so pleased with you and the way this has gone. The web site is exactly what I I was looking for, without knowing what I was looking for!" ![]() We kicked off 2016 with a flurry of Champaign and Logan County website launches. This week, we are proud to announce a site launch from a neighboring county. The Art of Music LLC is based out of Marysville in Union County, but sole proprietor Dawn Byus currently conducts her unique classes out of the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Lewis Center, Ohio. For the past few years, Dawn had managed her own website, taking advantage of the "free" option offered by well-known national company WIX. Dawn's basic site was becoming more cumbersome to update and manage, and after paying hosting, domain registration and a host of other fees, she certainly wasn't getting the free website she was promised. Additionally, the "free" site wasn't mobile-friendly. Dawn wanted a mobile-friendly site but there would be additional charges, time, and work on her part to create a separate mobile-friendly version of her site. At just the right time, Dawn heard about Berry Digital Solutions through a referral. She called us in to chat, and by the end of the day, we were working on a brand new, mobile-friendly, SEO optimized website. No longer will Dawn have to worry domain registrations, hosting, website edits and maintenance. Now, she can focus on her true passion, combining art and music through interactive classes for children! We also helped Dawn get her business Google, Bing & Yahoo verified to help people find her course offerings through search engines, and we even assisted Dawn when she needed help setting her business up on PayPal. Now, her customers can sign up and pay for classes on her brand new website, TheArtOfMusicLLC.com! Berry Digital Solutions partners with all kinds of fun and interesting small businesses, but we can't say enough wonderful things about The Art of Music LLC. The purpose of The Art of Music LLC is to bring joy and smiles to children and parent's faces through music, dancing and art. We strongly encourage anyone who needs a little joy in their lives to visit TheArtOfMusicLLC.com. It's impossible to feel "down in the dumps" after browsing the incredible smiling faces that light up Dawn's new website, and if you know a child who would benefit from Dawn's incredible classes, please sign them up here. (Her summer sessions are filling up fast. She also has amazing "Canvas & Conversation" classes for adults looking for a relaxing session of music and art.) Nowadays, most small business owners realize the importance of a website. A website is the business' online home, and more often than not, the business' online home receives more "visits" per week than the actual business. Websites allow your customers to try before they buy. With the rise of smart phones and tablets, consumers are spending more and more time on the internet than ever before. Younger generations browse and research before ever deciding to step foot on your premises, and some consumers never will step foot on your premises, electing to purchase online and have products delivered directly to their doorstep rather than be "inconvenienced" by an old-fashioned shopping trip. So how much should you pay for this online presence? You're used to paying rent, utilities and more for your physical presence, but an online presence couldn't possibly cost the same or more, right? Everyone's seen the commercials promising $9.99 or free websites. Why not GoDaddy and forget about it? The old adage, "Nothing in life is free," fits perfectly with this promise of free or dirt cheap websites. This initial promise of free websites is designed to lure you in and eventually open your checkbooks. If you stick to your guns and come away with the cheapest website possible, you'll end up with exactly that. A cheap website. With no support, no search engine optimization, no maintenance, and a site that looks like someone with no experience designed it. And in the end, you WILL end up spending some money making your own website. You'll be required to purchase a domain name, pay yearly hosting fees, and possibly pay for some premium plugins and themes. Start adding it all up and you’re investing several hundreds of dollars plus your time. It could take a newbie upwards of 40-80 hours to put together your own quality website. Is your time worth the learning curve, frustration, and costly mistakes? For most people, this answer is no. That's where Berry Digital Solutions LLC comes in. We have decades of experience creating, building and maintaining websites. We know what it costs, how much time it will take, challenges that will pop-up along the way and more. Our goal is to remove all of this website stress from your life, so you can focus more time elsewhere in your business. An added benefit of a Berry Digital Solutions' website is that we are local, hands-on and always available for tech support, training, on-the-fly site edits and more. If you're business is located in Champaign, Clark, Logan or Union counties, more often than not, we can meet with you at your business location at a moment's notice. That's the type of customer service you won't get from the national chains promising "$9.99 websites." We offer three different tiers of websites, ranging from basic 1-page sites to advanced 100+ page sites with full eCommerce options. All of our sites include year-round maintenance, edits, and tech support. Our designs are all mobile-friendly, state-of-the art modern designs that place the focus on user-friendliness and search engine optimization. Our website prices are about half of the national average. Our free and custom quotes won't be beat, and our customer service is second to none. So the next time you're considering a new website or switching from your current provider, remember to give Berry Digital Solutions a call. You won't regret it! |
